20555 Dear Ms. Wright; REF:

Application Reference SAM-LIC-2 Dated February 19, 1997 On February 19, 1997, Edlow International Company submitted an export license application, reference SAM-LIC-2, requesting authorization to export uranium as uranium hexafluoride to South Korea for use as relead fuel in reactors owned by the Korea Electric Power Corporation.

We have just been advised by our Korean customer that, in addition to the U.S.,

Canadian and Australian origin source material, the material to be exported contains source material from South Africa and Namibia. While the total quantity of material has not changed, we are submitting a revised application noting all the countries of origin for the source material.

Please note that we have provided e breakdown of the total quantity by origin.

Accordingly, the attached application will replace our application of February 19, 1997; please be so kind as to return this application to my attention.

Please apply our check (check number 6243) in the amount of $3,000 to the new application.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any additional information in connection with this request.

Sincerely, l 0 ([
