Dear Mr. President:
Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, requires the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to submit quarterly reports on the
-nondisclosure of safeguards information.
In keeping with this requirement, I am pleased to inform you that for the quarter beginning on October 1 and extending through December 31, 1996, the NRC neither released nor denied to the public any documents containing safeguards information.
