SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE On June 1, 1985 the Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station, Unit No.
1, was operating at approximately 100% power.
On June 7, 1985 at 1930 hours0.0223 days <br />0.536 hours <br />0.00319 weeks <br />7.34365e-4 months <br />, an electrical transient caused the loss of'the "A" Condensate Pump and "C" Feedwater Pump.
All condensate pumps tripped on high deaerator tank level and were restarted after the high level alarm cleared.
Power was reduced and s t ab i lize d at approximately 82%.
Power was increased to 100%
by 0400 hours0.00463 days <br />0.111 hours <br />6.613757e-4 weeks <br />1.522e-4 months <br /> on June 8, 1985.
On June 25, 1985 at 0100 hours0.00116 days <br />0.0278 hours <br />1.653439e-4 weeks <br />3.805e-5 months <br />, power was reduced to approximately 80% to allow maintenance of the "2A" Feedwater Heater.
Power was increased to 100% by 1000 hours0.0116 days <br />0.278 hours <br />0.00165 weeks <br />3.805e-4 months <br />.
On June 30, 1985 the plant was operating at approximately 100%
power.
