Thank you for your letter of October 11, 1996, inviting the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to become a member of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency's Information System on Occupational Exposure (IS0E).
I am pleasad to inform you that the NRC plans to. transmit a formal acceptance to you through Dr. David Miller, regional coordinator of the North American Regional Technical Center (NARTC), as soon as all provisions of the terms and conditions for accession to the ISOE are clarified by the NARTC coordinator.
At that time, a primary member (and alternate) for the ISOE Steering Group will be identified.
