1 of 1 MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES - JUNE, 1985 HIGHLIGHTS:
The Unit is currently'in the 10 Year ISIz and Cycle 9 Refueling Outage.
There was no electrical generation in the month of June.
Summary:
6-01-85 At 2312, an inadvertant safety injection was received when switching'from the normal vital instrument bus power supply,_CRID II, to the backup supply while maintenance was being performed on pressurizer Channel I.
6-07-85 At 1436, NIS Source Range Channel N-32 was declared inoperable due to water leaking into the detector housing.
a 6-15-85 At 1144, the core barrel was removed from the reactor vessel.
At 1225, the core barrel was placed in its storage place.
6-23-85 At 1136, Train."A" blackout testing was commenced.
The Unit 1 Control Room Cable' Vault Halon System was inoperable as of 1400 on 4-05-83.
The backup CO system for the control 2
Room Cable Vault remains operable.

50 - 315 UNIT NAME D. C. Cook - Unit No. 1 DATE 7-6-85 COMPLETED BY B. A. Svensson MAJOR SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE JUNE, 1985 M-1 CCW-183W (CCW Outlet Valve from "W" RHR Heat Exchanger) leaked by.
New valve installed due to condition of seat on original valve.
M-2 While performing an ISI hydro, a leak was discovered on the East RHR Heat Exchanger tube sheet flange. Gasket was replaced.
M-3 CCM-451 (CCW from RCP's oil coolers) leaked over guidelines in Per-formance's STP.203. Seat was beyond repair - new valve was instal-led and tested for operability.
M-4 IRV-111 (Fill Line to #1 Accumulator) was discovered to be leaking by during Hydro-ISI.024. Valve was disassembled and cage seat was lapped to plug. Valve was also repacked.
IRV-lll was tested for operability after repairs.
C&I-l The CD-1 battery charger was not keeping the CD battery charged.
Three silicone controlled rectifiers were replaced which corrected the problem.
C&I-2 Diesel Generator ICD, air to turbo-charger pressure reducing valve, XRV-228, was not performing correctly causing a safety valve to operate. A metal fragment was found in the internals. The seat and cone were relapped and the pressure reducing valve tested satis-factorily.
