Dear Mr. Moran:
Enclosed are ten copies of the subject report. This report contains a description of the Cavity Dosimetry Program being conducted by the B&W Owners Group.
It is intended that this program will provide a demonstration of the ability to accurately determine reactor vessel fluence from ex-vessel measurcments taken in the cavity region. This report is being submitted by the Babcock & Wilcox Company on behalf of the B&W Owners Group and the following Utilities:
Arkansas Power & Light Company Duke Power Company Florida Power Corporation GPU Nuclear Corporation Sacramento Municipal Utility District Toledo Edison Company The NRC is requested to review this report and provide their concurrence by June 1,1986 that the B&W Owners Group Cavity Dosimetry Program, when successfully completed, will provide acceptable methods for determining vessel fluence from ex-vessel measurements. This program was reviewed with NRC staff and consultants on June 27, 1985.
