Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to:

(1) provide incremental funding in the amount of $705.00 thereby  :

increasing the obligated amount of the subject contract from

$41,241.00 to $41,946.00 to allow for presentation of the Radioactive Waste Management Course at the fixed unit price i reflected under Subparagraph B.3.a - Base Year of the subject contract; and i i

(2) exercise the first option year of the contract, effective )

June 6, 1998, at the fixed unit prices reflected under i Subparagraph B.3.b. - Option Year One. As a result, the obligated ,

amount of the contract is hereby increased by $11,741.00 from  !

$41,946.00 to $53,687. In addition, the ceiling amount of the subject contract is increased by $84,927.00 from $95,475 to l

$180,402.00. (Note: Funding in the amount of $11,741.00 is being obligated for presentation of CLIN 004 of Option Year One.)

(3) extend the period of performance of the subject contract from June 6, 1997 to June 6, 1998.

4 Accordingly, the following changes are hereby made:

, 1. Under Paragraph Paragraph B.4 -- Consideration and Oblication--

Delivery Orders, the first sentence of Subparagraphs (a) and (b) are hereby deleted in their entirety and substituted in lieu 4 thereof the following:

"(a) The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is $180,402.00.

(b) The amount presently obligated with respect to this contract is $53,687.00." l

2. Under Paragraph F.2 - Duration of Contract Period, the first sentence is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted in lieu  !

thtreof the following:

"The Ordering period for this contract shall commence on 6/07/96 and will expire on 6/06/98."

A summary of obligations for this contract, from award date through the date l of this action is given below:

Total FY 1996 obligations: $39,306.00 Total FY 1997 obligations: $14,381.00 Cumulative Total of NRC Obligations: $53,687.00 This modification obligates FY 1997 funds in the amount of $12,446.00.

All other terms and conditions under this contract remains unchanged.
