Inspection Report 84-23 In our response to Inspection Report 84-23 [ Reference c)], we stated our intention to have an improved shelf life controls program in place by September 14, 1985.
The purpose of this letter is to formally notify you of a recent modifica-tion to our schedule. As discussed with your staff, we will be unable to complete the improvements by September 14, 1985, due to the unanticipated scope of the effort. We now expect to implement the revised controls by December 31, 1985, however, we will continue the interim measures described in our May 31, 1985 letter (Reference c)] until that time.
Based on discussions with Mr. William Raymond of your staff, we understand that this extension is acceptable; however, should you have any questions, please contact us.
