Dear Ms. Fowler,
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Teper:
On August 12, 1985, the Board admitted for litigation a number of contentions relating to emergency planning.
In a letter to the Board of August 26, 1985, Applicants proposed a discovery schedule for the admitted contentions in which the NRC Staff is reported to concur. Joint Intervenors were said to be undecided as to the scheduling.
The Board requests that the Joint Intervenors propose an alternative discovery schedule, if they cannot come to terms with Applicants and Staff, and refer the matter back to the Board by September 16, 1985 for decision.
