i Attached are copics of revised Bases page B 3/4 2-5 for Farky Nuclear Plant Unit I and Unit 2 i
Technical Specifications. The changes to Bases 3/4.2.5, DNB Parameters, were made under the authority of 10 CFR 50.59 and have been reviewed and approved by the Plant Operations Resiew Committee. The changes allow the use of either the precision calorimetric-based flow measurement method or an alternate method using the cold leg elbow taps to satisfy the requirements of the eighteen month RCS total flow surveillance. No FNP Technical Specifications Limiting Conditions for Operation or Surveillance Requirements changes are required. The Unit 1 Bases change will be incorporated during the Cycle 15 refueling in 1997 in conjunction with the changes included in Amendment 121. The Unit 2 Bases change will be incorporated during the l
current Cycle 12 refueling in conjunction with Amendment i13 changes.
