"O" Frame Beta Gauges DESCRIPTION:
The Model SC-7D beta gauge is mounted on a "C" frame.
The source used is the LFE Model S-6 containing up to 750 mci of Kr-85.
The source "open" and " closed" position is visually displayed by colored lights mounted atop the gauge frame.
The source shutter mechanism is electrically operated against an extension spring which returns the gauge to the " closed" position upon interruption of the power supply.
The Model SC-7E model number designation refers to variations in air gap, collimator, and source mount assemblies.
SAFETY ANALYSIS
