VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT CHANGE TO ALARM SETTINGS FOR DIGITAL METAL. IMPACT MONITORING SYSTEM Per the requirements of the Final Safety Analysis Report and Reg. Guide 1.133, Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) submits the attached changes in alarm settings to the Digital Metal Impact Monitoring System. These changes were made on September 3, 1996, based on system requirements as background noise increased during the respective units' fuel cycles. Due to inadequate procedural guidance, prior changes to settings have
- not been submitted since the original startup for each unit. Additionally, an evaluation of VEGP's FSAR position on Reg Guide 1.133 conformance is being performed.
