A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. B. Carson of this office
on July 8-9, 1985 of the activities authorized by NRC License No. CX-22 at the
C'itical Experiment Facility.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspec-
tion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the ia-
spection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by'the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
