CONFIRMATION OF UPCOMING NRC INSPECTION AT YOUR FACILITY
Dear Dr. Holden:
This letter confirms the dates of December 9-12, 1996, for the U. S. Nyclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to conduct an inspection of the C&De' Charter Power Systems, Inc. (C&D) facility at Leola, Pennsylvania.
These dates were established in telephone conversations on November 12 and 15, 1996, between Mr. Joseph Petrosino of this office and Mr. Terry Kinden of your staff.
The inspection will relate to the implementation of your Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50 and 10 CFR Part 21 program that you established to control Lucent Technologies round cell battery manufacturing, assembly, and testing affecting the quality and reliability of these batteries in NRC regulated Class IE applications.
