I have reviewed the letter.you propose to send to B&W and the incoming.
I have identified what appears to be a typo on the letter dated September 26, 1996, from Bayerische Landesbank to the NRC.
The accompanying Notice of Amendment was executed September 26, 1996, to remove the NRC's concern regarding a one day lapse in financial assurance. The letter, however, states that the Amendment is effective September 27, 1997.
It should state that it is effective September 27, 1996.
This is not a serious problem in that the letter states that the Letter of Credit is extended to September j
.26, 1997, at Midnight and will automatically renew on September 27, 1997, at 12:01 a.m.
Accordingly, despite what I believe to be a typo, the NRC is

adequately protected. Therefore, I have indicated No Legal Objection on the concurrence page and the document is available for pick-up from Terri Mayberry.
