JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 1 - WITHDRAWAL 0F AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. M96382)
Dear Mr. Morey:
By letter dated August 23, 1996, you applied for amendments to the Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-2 and NPF-8. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications to allow installation of laser welded elevated tubesheet sleeves in.rarley Units 1 and 2.
Subsequently, on November 20, 1996, an interim amendment was issued for Unit 2 only.
By letter dated January 10, 1997, you submitted proposed amendments for Units 1 and 2 on laser welded sleeving. Therefore, by letter dated February 7, 1997, you withdrew the August 23 amendment request for Unit 1, which is no longer required.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for i
Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
