Attachment 1, explains each change, paragraph by paragraph.

[ Comments are shown in a box like this. l The major revision is changing the requalification cycle from a one year cycle to a two year cycle in accordance with 10CFR55.59. The other change is exempting the person who writes the written exam from taking the exam during that cycle. These changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the Requalification Plan because the number and frequency oflectures, reactivity manipulations, observations, and operational exams does not change. The only practical change is that the operators will take the written exam every two years rather than every year. This is in accordance with 10CFR55.59.
These changes result from an audit of our Requalification Plan by our oversight committee, the Reactor Operations Committee. This revision has been approved by that committee.
