Subject:

Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 29. entitled. " Field Techniques and Regulatory Course." under Contract No. NRC-26-91-290 As discussed with Fangie Jones. Project Officer. and Michael Turner of my staff, the purpose of this modification is to extend the period of performance of the subject task order through March 1. 1997, without increasing the total estimated reimbursable cost or the fixed fee amount. The extension is necessary to allow adequate time to complete the development, review, and a] proval of the training course materials which has fallen behind schedule.

Tierefore, enclosed for your review and signature are three (3) presigned copies of Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 29. extending the period of performance from November 2. 1996, to March 1. 1997.

Accordingly, the task order is hereby modified as follows:

Paragraph 2 of the definitization letter dated November 3,1995, is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

" Task Order No. 29 shall be in effect from November 3. 1995, through March 1, 1997, with a cost ceiling of $184.601.

The amount of $100,100 represents the total estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of $1.000 represents the facilities capital cost of money. and the amount 'of

$14.656 represents the fixed fee."

Subtask 3 of the Statement of Work Paragraphs c and e. are revised to read as follows:

"c.

A meeting will be held the week of December 2.1996, at the contractors facility in Waterford, CT with the Sonalysts Project Officer. Sonalysts Lead Instructor. NRR personnel and TTC personnel. This meeting will occur towards the end of development

to allow for review and discussion of the materials to that time.

The contractor shall incorporate all necessary changes or revisions Dp resulting from this meeting and submit the material to the NRC Project Officer for review by January 31. 1997."
