SUBJECT:
C&D CHARTER POWER SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED RESPONSE TO NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 99901034/96-01 Thank you for your January 27, 1997, letter in response to the Notice of Violation (NOV) and Notice of Nonconformance (NON) which were attached to the subject inspection report.
We have reviewed your letter and find that your reply to the NOV and NON is responsive to our concern. We have no questions at this time and will review the implementation of your corrective action during a future U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff inspection to determine that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained.
However, after C&D completes its engineering analysis in response to NON 99901304/96-01-04, please contact Mr. Joseph Petrosino of my staff, at (301) 415-2979, to discuss the results of the analysis. If you have any questions regarding this matter we will be pleased to discuss them with you.'
