NRC-04-93-064 Modification No. 8 Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this contract modification is to extend the period of performance and the time available for exercise of Option Year Three (CLIN 0004) by 6 months to May 1, 1997. This extension is due to delays encountered by the Scientific and Technical Center of the Ukraine Regulatory Organization (MEPNS) in their review of the draft Task 5 Phase 2 ROVNO PRA report and in their providing the human and reliability data and remaining initaiting events data necessary to complete the Task 5 Phase 2 ROVNO PRA report.
Accordingly, the contract is modified at no change to contract estimated cost and fixed fee or the remaining option year estimated costs and fixed fees as follows:
- 1. Section F.5 entitled " Duration of the Contract Period (MAR 1987) ALT II (MAR 1987)" is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:

This contract shall commence on July 21, 1993 and shall expire on May 1, 1997.
The term of this contract may be extended at the option of the Government for an additional two successive one-year periods.
