Letter from Mr. S. C. Flanders (NRC) to Mr. C. H. Cruse (BGE), dated August 30, 1996, Request for Additional Information Regarding the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company Integrated Plant Assessment Systems and Commodity Reports Submitted May 22,1996 In Reference (a), Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) submitted five Integrated Plant Assessment System and Commodity Reports to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff for review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR Part 54. Reference (b) forwarded 283 questions requesting additional information on those five reports. Reference (b) requested a response to the questions within 60 days of receipt, adding that if this is not achievable, BGE should notify the Staff and propose a date for submittal of a response.
We will not be able to respond to the questions by your requested date. By February 14,1997, we will respond to a majority of the questions. This date will allow us to properly assess, prepare and review the responses. For the remaining questions (approximately 15), we will require additional time to develop a response. We currently estimate that we will respond to the remaining questions by April 18,1997.
