The Commission

• met to discuss a full power operating license for Limerick Generating Station, Unit 1. '

The Commission heard statements and comments from Phyllis

!l Zitzer, President, Limerick Ecology Action J.L. Everett, j

j Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) ; and Vincent Boyer, Senior Vice President l for Nuclear Power, PECo.

1 The Commission voted 4-0 to allow the Licensing Board's Fourth Partial Initial Decision to become effective and to authorize  ;

the staff to issue a full power license for Limerick Unit 1.

l l The Commission voted 3-1 (with Commissioner Asselstine dis-I' agreeing) to adopt an order (ref SECY-85-267) implementing the above vote. (This completes Commission action on i SECY-85-267.)

i (Subsequently, on August 8, 1985 the Secretary signed an order I to that ef fect.)

i i The Commission further requested the staff to report to the Commission on the general performance of security personnel provided under contract to PECo and other licensees by YOH
