POSTPONEMENT OF PRE-DECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE REFERENCE CORRESPONDENCE FROM J. M. JACOBSON, NRC RIII TO L. W. MYERS, DATED JANUARY 28, 1997
Dear Mr. Myers:
This letter confirms the February 3.1997, discussion between Mr. J. A. Grobe
'of NRC RIII with Mr. J. P. Stetz and Mr. R. D. Brandt of Centerior Service Company regarding the pre-decisional enforcement conference scheduled for February 5, 1997. That pre-decisional enforcement conference was originally scheduled to discuss the apparent violations involving Technical Specification LCO action requirements which were exceeded (NRC Inspection Report No.
50-440/96017).
During the telephone conversation we agreed to integrate this conference with one for the failure of corrective actions to prevent an inadvertent reactivity addition (NRC Inspection Report No. 50-440/96018), and if necessary, one for Appendix R hot short issues (NRC Inspection Report No 50-440/96017). We will reschedule a conference in the near future.
