pursuant to the Freedom of Infomation Act (F0IA), copies of six reports by various organizations regarding radioactive waste disposal.

A copy of the Geological Society of America Report " Properties of Salt Important in Radioactive Waste Disposal" is presently not available. The i

NRC staff infomed this office that a copy may be located in a public library.

Copies of the six remaining reports, listed on the enclosed appendix, are available for public inspection and copying in the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) in Washington, DC.

Reports one through five will be filed in folder F01A-85-430 under your name.

The report identified at number six is filed among other PDR files under the accession number identified on the appendix.

Enclosed is a notice that provides procedures and charges for obtaining records from the PDR.
