I Facilities Licensing Branch Washington D.C. 20555 Re: Docket 50-4-3 Application is hereby made to decommission the University of California, Santa Barbara, L-77 nuclear training reactor, and to terminate the license (R-124) when the decommissioning has been accomplished. Nineteen copies of the Decommissioning Plan and Environmental Report are enclosed.

The report was prepared by a contractor, Rocketdyne Division of Rockwell International Corporation, and ,reviwed by the appropriate agencies at UCSB. Prompt action would be appreciated so that the reactor can be decommissioned in January, 1986.
