The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with officials of Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company on Wednesday

morning, October 2,

to discuss the results of the Augmented Inspection Team (AIT) that reviewed four events related to reactor coolant inventory control and the contingency plans for reliable reactor cooling following the failure of one RHR pump.

The team began its work on September 3 and finished its on-site review on September 17.

The meeting, which is open to the public for observation only, will begin at 10 o' clock in the Connecticut Yankee Energy Information Center at the Haddam Neck site.
