This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. E. Oiler of this office on August 19-23, 1985, of your facility at Lanconia, New Hampshire, and to the discussions of our findings with you and mes:.bers of the plant staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to review the technical aspects of manufacturing deficiencies in hydraulic snubbers manufactured by Bergen Paterson Pipesupport Corporation (BPPC), and other snubber related BPPC activities. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of an examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
