Enclosed is a letter, dated October 16, 1985, from Jares Berger, ORAU,

to me concerning Isotopic Uranium in UNC Soils. Mr. Bert;er concludes that a U-234/U-235 ratio of 30 or greater is appropriate for the UNC decorrissioning effort. In accordance with the ORAU interim soil survey results and the discussiers in our recent neeting, please provide us with specific actions and schedules for conpletion of the soil decontam-ination effort. Upon corpletion, we will perform appropriate confirmatory surveys.
