Dear Mr. Sheehan:

This is in response to your letter dated March 26, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), a copy of the successful proposal and contract related to Request for Proposal number RS-0RM-84-397 entitled "0IP Requirements Study."

The NRC routinely makes publicly available copies of all contracts in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR), 1717 H Street, H Street, NW, Washington, DC. A copy of the contract you requested is in PDR contracts file number NRC-33-85-323.

In a telephone conversation between David Meyer and you on April 4, 1985, you agreed to accept a nonproprietary version of the successful proposal. The proposal you requested, as described on the enclosed appendix, is now available for public inspection and copying at the PDR in file F01A-85-223 under your name.

Also enclosed is a copy of a notice which explains the procedures and charges for obtaining records from the PDR.
