Enclosed is the NRC license renewal which you requested.
Please review the enclosed document carefully and be sure that you understand
all conditions. If there are any errors or questions, please notify us so
that we can provide appropriate corrections and answers.
Please note that License Condition 14. requires that any maintenance of the
gauges involving dismantling, removal of source holder (s), etc., must not be
perforned by the user and must only be performed by the manuf acturer of the
device. If you wish to conduct such activities, you should request a licenne
amendment. You should submit the information as described on page 9 of the
enclosed guide.
It is NRC policy that either film badges or thermoluminescent dosimetern
(TLD) should be worn when portable gaugen are used. Refer to item 10.1,
Personnel lionitoring Equipe.cnt, on pages 7 and 8 of the enclosed guide. As
TLDs may be exchanged on a quarterly basis, you may prefer to use this type
of personnel dosimetry.
As no training or exper ence information was submitted for Mr. Ron Towne, he
was not specifically listed on the license. Ilowever, if he has completed the
manufacturer's training course and a copy of his training certificate is on
file in your effice, then he is an authorized user. Refer to License
Condition 12.

reference your license and docket numbers to expedito your inquiry.
