Docket No. 50-184 l The National Institute of Standards and Technology is planning to change the name of the Reactor Radiation Division to the NIST Center for Neutron Research to be headed by a Director.
NIST, therefore, respectfally requests that Section 7 of the Technical Specifications be amended !
as follows: i Replace Reactor Radiation Division by NIST Center for Neutron Research )
Replace Chief, Reactor Radiation Division by Director, NIST Center for Neutron Research.
These changes are shown in the enclosed revised pages of Section 7.
The requested amendment involves a name change only. All functions, responsibilities, and per::onnel remain the same. Accordingly, there is no increase in the probability or consequences of any accident previously analyzed; there is no possibility of a new or a different kind of accident being created; and there is no reduction in any safety margin. l The name change will be effected upon receipt of NRC approval.
