Dear Mr. Ventura:
This letter confirms the date of January 21, 1997, for an NRC inspection of Caldon, Inc.
This date was established in a telephone call between Mr. Ernest Hauser and Mr. Anil S. Gautam of the NRC on January 17, 1997.
We plan to assess the adequacy of your corrective actions regarding degradation of signals from the Leading Edge Flow Meter (LEFM) Transducer Model 601 when installed in commercial nuclear plants, and whether licensees were informed of corrective actions for this event.
