SUBJECT:

Licensee Event Report Limerick Generating Station - Unit 2 This LER reports a non-compliance with a specific provision of the Fire Protection Program.for Unit 2.

The electrical power to two motor operated valves was not removed during start-up following a planned maintenance outage. These valves are required to be closed and de-energized to protect a high/ low pressure system interfaces in the event of.a fire in certain areas of the plant. This resulted in a failure to meet a License Condition for Unit 2.
