Georgia Power Company, et al. (Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2)
NRC Docket Nos. 50-4 24 and 50-4 25%
Dear Administrative Judges:
I am writing to advise that on August 5, 1985, Georgia Power Company announced a three month delay in the planned fuel load and commercial operating date for Unit No. 1 of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant.
The unit is now planned for fuel load in December of 1986 and commercial operation in June of 1987.
The planned commercial operation date for Unit No. 2 has not been changed.
I recognize from your letter of July 31, 1985 to Mr.
Churchill that the Board believes it is premature to establish a hearing schedule now.
However, when the Board does consider this subject, Applicants would propose a hearing commencing in January or early February of 1986.
This would reflect the h500024 PDR b0b
