Potential 10CFR21 report on snubber bracket materials.

Dear Mr. Young:
During an internal audit by the Paul-Munroe Quality Assurance department, it was determined that a number of pipe snubber brackets were manufactured from materials other than that specified by the design drawings.
The brackets identified have been shipped to Duquesne Light Company, Beaver Valley plant.
The architect engineer, Stone and Webster, has been notified and requested to return the subject brackets.
These brackets will be scrapped and new ones supplied with the correct material.
To our know?adge, no other nuclear power plants have been supplied brackets made from incorrect material s.
Paul-Munroe and the bracket supplier is currently reviewing documentation records ct all previous shipments to detemine if similar errors have occurred.
This investigation will require approximately 45 days to complete.
Upon completion, a final report will be filed.
