Please send me copies of all correspondence, memoranda, reports, studies and other documents regarding the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's closed meetings held March 15, 1985, concerning the Waterford 3 nuclear plant. Waterford 3, located near Taft, La.,
is owned and operated by Louisiana Power & Light Co.
The Freedom of Information Act provides that if portions of a document are exempt from release, the remainder must be segregated and disclosed. Therefore, I will expect you to send me all nonexempt portions of the records which I have requested, and ask that you justify any deletions by reference to specific exemptions from the Freedom of Information Act.
I promise to pay reasonable search and duplication fees in connection with this r.equest. However, I am a journalist employed by The Times-Picayune /The States-Item and intend to use the information as the basis for newspaper articles.
