References (a), through (d) provided information concerning a deficiency reportable pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55(e) regarding the adequacy of installation and inspection of the quarter-inch liner plates for the Auxiliary Building Ventilation (VA) Exhaust Filter l
Housings, the Unit 1 and 2 Reactor Containment (VP) Fan Cooler Housing, and the Unit 1 and 2 eighty-four inch Return Air Risers at i
our Braidwood Station.
The purpose of this letter is to provide an updated status of the corrective actions taken to resolve this issue.
This letter is considered to be a Final Report.
i Sargent & Lundy's field verification of the VA Exhaust
[
Filter Housings and the Unit 1 VP system (RCFC) housings & risers is complete.
Field verification for the Unit II VP system (RCFC) l housings & risers is on hold to allow concentration of Sargent &
Lundy's manpower on identified Unit 1 field problems.
As-built drawings for the VA and the Unit 1 VP systems have been issued.
Pullman Sheet Metal's documentation review and record reorganization efforts are complete.
Pullman Sheet Metal (PSM) has started configuration / welding quality inspections.

The expected completion date for corrective action for the Unit 1 VP system.(RCFC) housings and risers is November 15, 1985.
The completion date for the VA Exhaust Filter Housings is March 1986.
The completion date for Unit 2 VP system (RCFC) housings and risers is expected by Unit 2 Fuel Load.
