MONTHLY NARRATIVE REPORT OF OPERATING AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance experience for the month of May 1985.
This report was prepared by the Plant Staff and is submitted in accordance with Section IX:I.1.c. of the Technical Specifications.
During the report period, the reactor has been in the cold shutdown mode with the core unloaded and the reactor vessel drained. During the month, work continued on the layup of equipment not required by this operating mode, plant decontamination, and preparations for decommis-sioning. Forty-four unirradiated fuel assemblies were decontaminated and shipped to the fuel vendor.
Shipments of solidified radioactive wastes began on March 25, 1985 and continued throughout the month of May.
No other significant maintenance was accomplished during the month.
