Dear Gentlemen:
The Licensing Board's August 1 Order directed that unless otherwise agreed, the parties were to file a report by August 9 with respect to the progress of negotiations concerning objections to Intervenors' interrogatories.
Counsel for the Intervenors, NRC Staff and Applicant believe that such negotiations would be more fruitful after Intervenors have had an opportunity to review the answers to be filed on August 9 by the Applicant and NRC Staff.
Hence, counsel for the cognizant parties have agreed to commence negotiations at 9 a.m., August 14 in the Chicago offices of Isham, Lincoln & Beale.
The meeting will continue thereafter as necessary.
The report called for by the Board's August 1 Order and/or any Motion to Compel will be filed on August 19.
By agree-ment between counsel, August 19 is also the time established for the filing of Intervenors' answers to Applicant's interrogatories.
