Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29 File: 0260/L-860.0 Post Warranty Run Operational Readiness Review AECM-85/0321 Mississippi Power 6 Light (MP6L) is submitting the attached report entitled " Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Post Warranty Run Operational Readiness Review" as required by Operating License Condition 2.C.(4a).
The Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) warranty run was completed on August 23, 1985. The report documents the Safety Review Committee (SRC) Special Subcommittee's review and evaluation of GCNS Unit 1 operational readiness following completion of the 100-hour warranty run.
The report has been reviewed and endorsed by the full SRC.
The subcommittee conducted the review consistent with the seven areas identified in the 1fcanaa condition. The subcommittee concluded that by observing normal procedural controls, the plant and personnel are ready to continue with commercial operation. MP&L considers that the attached report satisfies the final requirement and documents full compliance with Operating License Condition 2.C.(4a).
