{{#Wiki_filter:\\ . . , .. . , JUL 181985 Docket No. 30-20693 License No. 29-18205-02 Geo-Tech Associates /Geo-Tech Laboratories ATTN: Mr. Carmin DeVito, President 43 South Avenue Fanwood, New Jersey 07023 Gentlemen: I Subject: Inspection No. 85-01 This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Ms. Nancy Ann Dennis of this office on June 26 and July 3,1985, of activities authorized by NRC License No. 29-18205-02, and to discussions of our findings held by Ms. Dennis with yourself and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. -This also refers to a subsequent telephone discussion between yourself and Mr. J. Joyner of this office on July 15, 1985. Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations and measurements by the inspector. As discussed during the telephone conversation between yourself and Mr. Joyner, the apparent violations identified during this inspection will be discussed during an Enforcement Conference which will be conducted by tele- phone at 10:00 a.m. on July 19, 1985. You should be prepared to discuss the causes of these apparent violations and your proposed corrective action. Enforcement action for the violations will be determined following the telephone discussion that time. The NRC Enforcement Policy is described in Appendix C of 10 CFR Part 2, a copy of which is enclosed for your information. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure , l will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. l No reply to this letter is required.
