Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29 File: 0260/15620 Submittal of GGNS SPDS Safety Analysis and Implementation Plan AECM-85/0219 In accordance with the requirements of NUREG-0737 Supplement 1 and Operating License Condition 2.C.(36), MP&L is hereby submitting the GGNS Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) Safety Analysis and Implementation Plan. As shown on the attached Implementation Schedule, the SPDS is continuing to undergo development and will be implemented prior to startup from the first refueling outage which is presently scheduled to occur in the third quarter of 1986.
A review of the Safety Analysis and Implementation Plan has been completed by the GGNS Plant Safety Review Committee for compliance with License Condition 2.C.(36).
No potential technical specification modifications were identified.
Prior to implementation of the SPDS a review will be conducted in accordance with NUREG-0737 Supplement 1, 4.2.b for potential unreviewed safety questions.
