The purpose of this modification is to (1) extend the period of performance, (2) add rate of payment for CY 1997, and (3) provide incremental funding in the amount of $37.000 for CY 1997. As a result of this action, the total amount obligated is $328,975. Accordingly, the following changes are hereby j
made:
1.
Article III - PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE, Paragraph A. is revised to read as follows:
"A.
The period of performance hereunder shall coamence on January 1.
1983 and shall continue through December 31, 1997, unless sooner terminated or extended, as herein provided.

Article V - CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT, Paragraph A., Consideration, l
Paragraph 1., is revised to read as follows:
l "1.
The Commi;sion will provide funds to the State in the amount of
$328,975 during the Fourteen (14) year period of performance.
The rate of payment to the State for calendar year 1997 is as follows:
1 CY-1997 - $16,000 per site (2), per year for EM Programs CY-1997 - $ 2,500 per site (2), per year for TLD Programs" 3.
Article V - CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT. Parag'aph A., Consideration, Paragraph 3., is revised to read as follows:
"3.
The amount presently obligated by the Commission with respect to this cooperative agreement for the CY-1997 effort is $37,000.
The total amount obligated since inception of this agreement is increased by $37.000 from $291,975 to $328,975."
l All other terms and conditions under this Cooperative Agreement remain unchanged.
