Dear Ms. Ponce:
This is in response to your letter dated September 26, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), records relating to the manufacture or storage of radioactive materials in Maywood, New Jersey, including records relating to Maywood Chemical Company and Stephan Chemical Company.
As indicated in your telephone conversation with Ms. Mary Jean Pool on October 1, the NRC has made available records on this subject in previous FOIA requests.
A list of those requests is enclosed.
The records released in response to those requests are available for public inspection and copying at the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR), 1717 11 Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555. Enclosed is a copy of a notice which explains the procedures and charges for obtaining records from the PDR.
As agreed in your telephone conversation with Ms. Pool, we are closing your request and, if you become interested in any additional records, you may submit a new FOIA request.
