In the Staff's response to Applicant's Motion for Directed Certification, we committed to inform the Appeal Board of the action taken by the Licensing Board concerning paragraph 2C of Intervenors' quality assurance contention.
"NRC Staff Response To Applicant's Motion For Directed Certification" at 6 n.3, July 23, 1985. During the Prehearing Conference held on July 23, 1985, the Licensing Board approved the jointly stipulated " Quality Control (QC) Inspector Harassment Contention" (Tr. 210-14), having ruled on the few disagreements identified in the stipulation.
Enclosed is the Licensing Board's "Prehearing Conference Order" dated August 1, 1985.
