l APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Glouster County Utilities Authority Docket No. 99990001 Thorofare, New Jersey 08086 General License As a result of the inspect on conducted on June 26, 1985, and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C), the following violations were identified:
10 CFR 31.5(c)(4) requires that records of tests for leakage of radioactive material required by 10 CFR 31.5(c)(2) be maintained for one year after the next requirec leak test is performed or until the sealed f
sources is transferred or disposed of.
Contrary to the above, as c f June 26, 1985, records of leak tests performed on the sealed sources were not maintained for the tests performed ca September 1, 1981, and September 22, 1983.
This is a Severity Level 'l violation (Supplement VI).
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, Glouster County Utilities Authority is hereby required to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of the letter which transmitted this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including: (1) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (2) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending this response time.
