We are in receipt of your letter of April 26, 1985, requesting that an NRC representative participate in your negotiations with Nuclear Fuel Services. It is our policy not to become directly involved in labor negotiations between licensees and their employees. We, therefore, will not be sending an individual to participate in your negotiations with Nuclear Fuel Services. We would be willing, however, to respond to any specific question you had regarding NRC requirements. We would request that you send such requests to the NRC in writing.

We hope that a successful resolution to your present dispute with Nuclear Fuel Services can be reached. In the event of a strike, the NRC will continue to inspect the Nuclear Fuel Services facility to assure adequate protection of the public's health and safety. We express our appreciation in advance for your cooperation in the execution of our inspection responsibilities.

iSincerely, 1
