The application has not been accepted for detailed review since information has not been provided which would pernit a neaningful review. Primary inadequacies are noted in the enclosure to this letter. The eight j
copies of the safety analysis report for which withholding was requested i
are being returned under separate cover.

Top or bottom edge drop of the ELEKTA TIGER was not considered.
The side edge drop may not be the worst case in deternining the l
adequacy of the lid holts.
6.
Puncture analysis which compares packages of different materials and weights is not substantiated. Also, the puncture analysis did not take into account sequential damage caused by previous drop tests.
00ALITY ASSIIRANCE PROGRAM I
An NRC approved Quality Assurance Progran was not identified for the design and fabrication of the LGS radiation unit.
