The purpose of this modification is to (1) extend the period of performance, (2) add rate of payment for CY 1997. (3) provide incremental funding in the amount of $16,000 for CY 1997. As a result of this action, the total amount cbligated is $210,500. Accordingly, the following changes are hereby made:
j 1.
Article III - PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE, Paragraph A. is revised to read as follows:
"A.
The period of performance hereunder shall commence on January 1, 1983 and shall continue through December 31. 1997, unless sooner terminated or extended, as herein provided.
2.
Article V - CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT, Paragraph A.. Consideration, Paragraph 1., is revised to read as follows:
"1.
The Comission will provide funds, subject to the availability of appropriation, to the State in the amount of $210,500 during the Fourteen (14) year period of performance. The rate of payment to the State for calendar year 1997 is as follows:
CY-1997 - $16,000 per site (1), per year for EM Program" 3.
Article V - CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT, Paragraph A., Consideration.
Paragraph 3., is revised to read as follows:
"3.
The amount presently obligated by tha Commission with respect to this cooperative agreement for the CY-1997 effort is $16,000.
The total amount obligated since inception of this agreement is

increased by $16.000 from $194.500 $210.000."
