BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 Policy Statement on Policy and Procedure for Enforcement Actions Duquesne Light Company (DLC) is responsible for the operation of Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS) Units 1 and 2. DLC has reviewed the policy statement,

" Policy and Procedure for Enforcement Actions; Depanure From FSAR," which was published in the Federal Register on October 18,1996 (61 FR 54465).

DLC has performed reviews of various sections of the BVPS Updated Final Safety Analysis Repon (UFSAR) during various internally driven initiatives. Based on the reviews of the UFSAR as well as the review of the revision to the subject policy statement, DLC is voluntarily committing to conduct a detailed review of the UFSAR for both BVPS Units 1 and 2. The goal of this project will be to ensure compliance with the UFSAR. The schedule for completion of this initiative is December 31,1998.
